I only have Base/Adventures/Pets/Late Night/Ambitions. I'm sure this gets worse with added content. It seems to happen regularly in the world adventures content. Now, for me personally I've noticed that the game has some kind of memory leak and or pathing issues that cause it to lag/skip after playing for awhile. I also didn't turn off any of the previous programs that I had running at 1.95. The game shouldn't be using more than around 2 in a half (just based off of the most intense games i've played - so not great info here), but I'll check right now for ya -right now before starting the game, I'm running at 1.95 gb of ram (doesn't matter what I have running) now let's see what it jumps to with the game running.I could only get it up to around 3.25 in window mode 1600x900 full graphic settings w/ about eight sims running around in one of the central parks. But look into dual channel ram or something.rather I found a link for you to express what I mean to say.īasically if you only have the one bank with two slots - you're better off having the same value in each slot versus a 4 gb and a 2 gb card/s. Something else that could be a problem and I don't have a link and can't remember off hand so look it up and take what I say with a grain of salt. Can someone please tell me what's wrong? I really just want to play the game with no issues. Then, I was in build mode and just playing and it lagged out. I was very mad, and also very disappointed. I tried force-quitting, until finally I just had to force-restart the whole computer. It lagged just out of nowhere, and I was very patient and tried to wait for it to catch up, but nothing. It took 3 times to actually create my Sim. When I launched it, everything was fine, running smooth - until when I started creating a Sim. Okay, so I recently purchased The Sims 3 when it was the Black Friday Sale, and I was so excited to play this.
